Personalisation used to be the part of a kit order nobody could price without picking up the phone. On the new site every option is priced on the product page, and the total updates as you type.
The prices
| Option | Price | Charged |
|---|---|---|
| Initials | £1.75 | per letter |
| Name | £0.80 | per letter |
| Small numbers | £1.75 | per character |
| Large numbers | £2.00 | per character |
| Small logo | £3.95 | flat, per garment |
| Large logo | £3.95 | flat, per garment |
| Sponsor logo | £3.95 | flat, per garment |
So a shirt with SMITH across the back and a 9 under it is 5 × £0.80 plus £2.00 — £6.00 of printing. Add your club badge on the chest and it is £9.95.
There is no minimum order
One shirt with one name on it is a perfectly good order. You do not need a squad, a committee decision or a minimum spend to put your name on something.
If you are buying for a squad, 10% comes off automatically over £100 — no code — and UK delivery is free over £300.
What can be personalised
More than 5,000 products across both sides of the site: football and training kit, goalkeeper sets, tracksuits, hoodies, polos, caps, beanies, socks and bags on the sports side; polos, hi-vis, softshells, fleeces, work trousers, aprons, towels and caps on the workwear side.
Which options a garment offers depends on the garment. A football shirt offers initials, a name, small and large numbers and three logo positions. A work jacket offers initials, a name and two logo placements — there is no squad number on a fitter's coat, so we do not offer one and do not charge for one.
Packs are priced per item, and the order says so
Some products are sold as multipacks — a twelve-pair pack of sports socks, a five-pack of work socks. If you personalise a pack, the printing is charged for every item in it, because every item gets printed. The order also carries a line saying so in words, so the bench knows all twelve pairs carry the mark rather than guessing.
Where the mark goes is your choice
Every field has a location and a position — front or back, left chest, upper middle, lower left, sleeve, thigh, on the shorts — and choosing one actually moves the artwork on the 3D model, at its real printed size in millimetres. The printable area is drawn on the garment so you can see how much room you have.
The list is the garment's own, so you are never offered somewhere the print room cannot print.
Embroidery or print?
Both cost the same here. Which one a garment takes depends on the garment and the artwork — see embroidery or print: how your logo goes on.
Uploading your own artwork
Upload a logo and the site checks whether it is sharp enough to print at the size you have chosen, and warns you before you order rather than after. A vector file or a large PNG is ideal; a badge saved off a website usually is not, and we would rather tell you now.
